Keeping service value and verified impact separate
Blue Credits
Blue Credits make service value visible within Dark Blue Hybrid Living™. Verified Carbon Credits may form the impact layer, but remain a separate product in legal and administrative terms.
What they are intended for
Members may receive credits based on membership, the length of their relationship or specific programmes. Under the applicable terms, they can be used for housekeeping, meals, mobility, spa, selected retreats, maintenance or guest stays.

Blue Credits
Blue Credits are loyalty benefits, separate from contractual Residence Nights and Blue Climate. They are not an investment or a CO₂ certificate. Restaurant partners can choose to save their business credits or redeem them for money under a separate programme. Execution of that programme is not yet connected.

Verified Carbon Credits
Carbon Credits represent an emission reduction or removal only when supported by a recognised methodology, independent verification, a unique serial number and registry status. A certificate therefore cannot be merely a marketing label.

ECOBoard in your residence
For members living in homes with ECOBoard, we are exploring an optional Carbon Credits wallet. A product passport provides the provenance basis; any allocation requires separate verification, issued credits and documented ownership rights. Saving and redemption will become available only after the programme has been established.

Travel with insight
A future travel planner could display the estimated emissions of a trip to Toronto, for example, alongside available Carbon Credits. Offsetting is confirmed only after registered retirement. No travel or loyalty partners are connected yet.

The finishing touch, without double counting
When a Carbon Valley demonstrably generates Carbon Credits, DBE can display that impact as a separate layer. Issuance, ownership, sale, retirement and claims remain separate from Blue Credits to prevent double counting and greenwashing.
